Members of the European Parliament on July 6 passed a resolution stating that Serbia’s progress on the road to EU membership will directly hinge on the implementation of internal reforms, normalization of relations with Kosovo, but also on imposing sanctions against Russia. The resolution, based on a report made by EP Rapporteur for Serbia Vladimir Bilcik, was adopted with 523 votes for and 78 against, with 34 abstentions.
