A Monument to Innocent Victims, or a Contribution to Historical Revisionism?

Despite protests by the citizens of Novi Sad, the city authorities are going through with a plan to build a Monument to Innocent Victims of 1944/45. The victims were the people killed during a liberation operation in Yugoslavia at the end of World War II. The critics of the plan, though, the most vocal being the Anti-Fascist Front „October 23“, have warned that the list of the victims include the names of proven war criminals.
