Kosovo Assembly (BETAPHOTO/ARMENIJA ZAJMI BESEVIC)
Fifteen attempts over the past month to inaugurate the Kosovo Assembly have failed as a result of political and legal factors. There are two main political reasons for why the Assembly has not been constituted yet, which suits outgoing premier Albin Kurti. He is using loopholes in the Constitution to prolong the assembly’s inauguration, since he does not have a majority for creating a new cabinet for now.
