Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended a military parade in Moscow last week at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, despite warnings from the European Union that the move would have a negative impact on Serbia’s European integration. The visit to Moscow is another foreign policy failure for Vucic, after the fiasco in Miami, because Putin was not as cordial with him as before and no agreement was reached on a new gas arrangement or on ownership of oil company NIS.
