Economic decisions, such as the signing of an agreement with the United Arab Emirates on cooperation in tourism and real estate development, along with the extension of a deadline for evaluating offers for renting the airports in Tivat and Podgorica have been shaking Montenegro’s political scene for the past weeks and months. These events overshadowed an unsuccessful opposition initiative for dismissing New Serb Democracy leader Andrija Mandic as speaker of Montenegro’s parliament.
