A Captive Church in a Captive Society

There is no doubt that Serbia is going through one of its deepest political crises in modern history. The process of an all out dissolution of society, morally, politically and economically, began nearly four decades ago. As its end approached, we found ourselves in a country that was on the verge of slipping into some kind of neo-feudal dystopia. And then tragedy struck sparking a rebellion and everything turned around. Owing to students, the fundamental values of justice and truth became the focus of society and the country was swept by a wave of solidarity.
