A years-long political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina has escalated this month into an institutional one, as Milorad Dodik refused to accept the court ruling removing him from the post of president of the Bosnian Serb entity, Republika Srpska, on Aug. 6. Having heralded multiple referenda in Srpska, Dodik indicated that a resolution to the institutional crisis will be neither easy nor quick.
