Clashes at protest (BetaPhoto/Dragan Gojic)
After several days of unrest in multiple Serbian cities in mid-August, the situation in the country has calmed down somewhat over the past few days, but the tensions between the supporters and opponents of the Aleksandar Vucic-led regime have not died down. The biggest responsibility for that lies on none other than Vucic, who is using various methods in an attempt to turn the situation around in his favor and improve his own popularity, without indicating a readiness to change his attitude toward his opponents.
