The preliminary results of Republika Srpska’s presidential polls indicate that the ruling coalition’s candidate Sinisa Karan has won the race, or rather, that real power remains in the hands of Milorad Dodik, the president of the largest party in the Bosnian Serb entity, for another year. It is certain that Karan will implement policies designed by Dodik, being his close associate for years.
