Despite being exposed to pressure from both domestic and international actors, the authorities led by Aleksandar Vucic are not giving up on their intent to disrupt the independence of prosecutors and judges. In addition to the campaign against the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime, whose independence it is planning on annulling, the regime now also wants to influence the election of judges.
