The local elections that were held in 10 municipalities and towns on March 29 were marked by traditional election irregularities, a high turnout and a shift in the balance of power. Although these are not representative environments, the election results indicate that the ruling coalition led by Aleksandar Vucic would not win the majority of votes in a general election if it were held in the coming days, not even with all the expected manipulation.
