A Shift of Questionable Significance

Four independent members of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media’s Council, who resigned last year not long after they were appointed, decided last week to return to the nine-member body on the heels of a decision by the Aleksandar Vucic administration. As for the opposition public, part of it is criticizing their return as something that benefits the government, while the other half is applauding them for opening possibilities for advancing the Regulator’s work to some degree.
