Part of the domestic public was stirred last week after a private letter by actress Bojana Maljevic to students in Nis explaining her decision to withdraw her nomination for parliament by the student ticket was leaked. The pro-government media obtained the letter in which Maljevic voices well-meaning criticism and used it against the rebel students on the same day as the results of a public opinion survey showed that the student ticket has a solid lead over the Serbian Progressive Party.
