Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s recent official visit to Serbia attracted – with good cause – a lot of public attention and sparked different, often contradictory comments, assessments and interpretations. Although some spoke of Aleksandar Vucic’s foreign policy U-turn to the West, it is very likely that Zelenskyy’s visit does not mean a change in the essence of Serbia’s foreign policy, based on balancing among the great powers.
