The Path to New Elections Opens

Despite the Kosovo Assembly voting in Albin Kurti’s new cabinet, it appears that this one is also going to be short-lived. Two outcomes could affect this – if the Constitutional Court rules that it was picked by an Assembly that was not completely inaugurated or if there is no agreement between the authorities and opposition on Kosovo’s new president. As things stand, Kosovo is unambiguously heading toward a new elections, which is almost undoubtedly what Premier Kurti’s wants.
