New Stage of Opposition-Government Dialogue: McAllister Proposes Two Phases

The negotiations between the Serbian authorities and the opposition on election conditions are apparently changing format and will be moved to the Serbian parliament. Open Society Foundation Director Milan Antonijevic announced the new format of the talks at last week’s round table at the Faculty of Political Sciences, as did the pro-regime media. The Foundation was among the organizers of a total of six meetings between opposition and government representatives on election conditions at Belgrade’s Faculty of Political Sciences, during which the process was opened, but no crucial progress was made.
