Kosovo President Hashim Thaci stated on March 26 that, after the no-confidence vote to the government, as the president, he would start consultations with the leaders of all parliamentary parties, without wasting time.
"Promptly after the ousting of the government, and on the basis of the Constitution and laws, I will start consultations with all political parties, with the aim of considering the possibility for the forming of a new government of stability, unity, which will be comprehensive," Thaci stated.
The jurists in Kosovo believe that the president has two options – consultations and a request to the Self-Determination Movement to nominate a new premier designate, or early elections, when the situation with the corona virus pandemic permits.
