Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on May 4 that parliamentary elections in the country would be held on June 21.
After a meeting with representatives of the parties that have announced their participation in the electoral race, Vucic said he had accepted a proposal put forward by some of those parties, stating that they needed 38 days before the election.
He said no assemblies would be permitted in May, "especially not outside."
The president had said earlier that the election would take place on June 14 or 21.
