The Dveri leader, Bosko Obradovic, appealed on June 8 to the election actors "calling themselves the opposition" to withdraw from the election race and refuse to take part in the "false and anticonstitutional" polls.

"I don't want to talk about how some parties managed to collect signatures to support their candidates before and after the state of emergency, or whether the ruling regime had helped them do so. I also won't make any comment on whether certain people gave their word and signed the Agreement with the People, promising to boycott any election unless it's free and fair," said Obradovic.

Along those same lines, the opposition leader promised he wasn't recalling that a role in a "non-democratic vote" would only lend legitimacy to a "non-democratic regime," and that the pandemic wasn't over and that new cases were reported on a daily basis, which made the election a health hazard.

"What I am talking about is that the Constitution has been violated by the authorities, and that the elections are unconstitutional in nature. Taking part in the elections is taking part in violating the Constitution," Obradovic has warned, underlining that respect to the Constitution of Serbia was fundamental to the rule of law.
