Arms Maker Zastava Oružje workers would go on a collective vacation on July 13, BETA was told at the factory on July 7.

Production Manager Zoran Susic said that July 7 was the last regular day with two shifts, adding that the decision on an annual shutdown had been made by the factory’s Covid-19 response team due to the current epidemiological situation.

According to Susic, during the second epidemic wave, 23 factory workers have tested positive for Covid-19. The coronavirus epidemic has altered the previously scheduled dates for an annual shutdown.
