Novi Pazar: Number of Examinations In Covid Infirmary Rising Again

A rising number of people with symptoms of the disease report to the COVID infirmary of the Health Center in Novi Pazar, but the number of those undergoing treatment in the General Hospital in the city is dropping every day, it was announced on Aug. 20.

According to data from the Health Center, 86 people asked for an examination in the COVID infirmary on Aug. 18, 73 on Aug. 19, while there were only 26 on Aug. 11.

The director of the Institute for Public Health, Sefadil Spahic, told Radio Sto Plus that the number of examinations and admissions to the Infection Ward was "slightly rising", because of which the epidemiological situation is still unstable.

He explained that the people have had a lot of contacts, that they were vacationing in "unstable countries – Albania and Montenegro, travelled by bus, and the school year will also start soon," and that there was a risk of "the situation deteriorating."
