Three More People Die from Coronavirus in Serbia, 57 Newly Infected

Three people died from the consequences of coronavirus infection in Serbia in the last 24 hours, according to the daily update on the website covid19.rs on Aug. 24.

In the same period 7,261 people were tested, of whom 57 tested positive for the virus. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients is 881, of whom 44 are on ventilators.

The number of COVID-19 related deaths so far is 701, while the death rate is 2.28 percent.

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia is 30,714, while the total number of tested people is 876,929.
