There were 99 new cases of the coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours in Serbia, while one person died from the consequences of the infection, it was announced on the web-site covid-19.rs on Sept. 2.
A total of 716 people have died during the epidemic in Serbia, and the virus has been detected in 31,581 people. There are 571 people currently in hospitals, 39 of them on ventilators.
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated on Sept. 2 that, depending on the epidemiological situation, which is being carefully monitored, assessments would be made and measures "relaxed" when the situation becomes stable, or "tightened" if the number of the infected starts to grow.
"The fight against the corona continues," Brnabic told TV Happy.
