Sixteen Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 2,518 Newly Infected

In the last 24 hours, 2,518 people in Serbia tested positive for the coronavirus, while 16 died of the disease, the Serbian Ministry of Health said in a press release on Feb. 21.

Hospital care is currently being provided for 3,569 COVID-19 patients, 151 of whom require assisted ventilation.

Since the beginning of the COVID epidemic in Serbia, the disease has claimed 4,337 lives, while 436,640 people have been infected with the virus.
