Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is expected to travel to Brussels next week to meet with senior EU officials, the Government of Kosovo announced on April 21.

The cabinet also said that the prime minister would not meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic during the visit, as Kosovo media had reported earlier.

"Prime Minister Kurti is visiting Brussels next week to meet with representatives of the European Union (EU) institutions. There will be no meeting between Kurti and Vucic," the cabinet said in a release.

The last meeting between the highest-ranking officials of Serbia and Kosovo took place last September, when President Vucic met with the Kosovo PM, Avdulah Hoti.
