Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the Serb Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, and Republika Srpska (RS) President Zeljka Cvijanovic in Banjaluka on April 22. After the meeting the president attended a session of the Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska.

The council session was also attended by the prime ministers of Serbia and Republika Srpska, Ana Brnabic and Radovan Viskovic, respectively, as well as the parliament speakers of Serbia and RS, Ivica Dacic and Nedeljko Cubrilovic. They were joined by RS Finance Minister Zora Vidovic, RS Energy and Mining Minister Petar Djokic, RS Interior Minister Dragan Lukac, Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, and Serbian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Aleksandar Djordjevic.

Vucic will receive the Key of the City and the honorary citizen charter at a ceremony organized to celebrate the Day of the City of Banjaluka, marked on April 22.

Billboards across the city had “Welcome, president! Thank you!” posted on them. The security levels in Banjaluka have been increased due to the official visit by the Serbian delegation, led by Vucic.
