Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said at a Dec. 20 meeting with Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Sem Fabrizi and EU ambassadors that her government had been working continuously to implement reforms that were important for the citizens of Serbia, which would lead to a genuine transformation of Serbian society ahead of the country's accession to the European Union (EU).

The Serbian government quoted her as saying in a press release that Serbia remained committed to the reform process and accession to the EU as a key foreign policy goal. The Serbian PM said that Serbia's economy was stable today, and that she was pleased to see a draft media strategy being endorsed the way it was and expected it to be relayed to her government for adoption soon.

The EU ambassador to Serbia said that the country had been successful in carrying out economic reforms, and that the fact that the Union was Serbia's greatest investor attested to its support to Serbia's reforms, the prime minister went on to say at the meeting.

Fabrizi and the EU ambassadors agreed that Serbia should shift the focus to Chapters 23 and 24 (the judiciary, fundamental rights, and justice, freedom and security, respectively).
