North Macedonia's real gross domestic product (GDP) grew by an estimated 3.6% year-on-year in 2019, preliminary official figures showed on March 6.
Gross domestic product totalled 698 billion denars ($12.5 billion/11.2 billion euro) at current prices in 2019, Makstat said in a statement.
Exports of goods and services rose by 8.3% in nominal terms in the review period, while imports grew by 9.0%.
Household final consumption grew by an estimated 3.5% last year.
In the last quarter alone, North Macedonia's GDP grew by an estimated 3.4% year-on-year
In 2018, North Macedonia recorded 2.7% economic growth.
