Yanfeng automotive interiors
Chinese Yanfeng Automotive Interiors officially opened on Nov. 28 in Kragujevac. The Chinese company's new production facility stretches across 18,500 square meters. Initially, the factory will provide jobs for 200 workers, but given that the facility has been designed for 800 workers, their numbers will gradually increase on an annual basis.
At the opening ceremony, the red ribbon was cut by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Chinese Ambassador Chen Bo, Kragujevac Mayor Radomir Nikolic, factory representatives Remon Vos, Michel Schaller, Steve Mesarosh and Milan Raovic, as well as Anka Duricic on behalf of the employees.
Yanfeng Automotive Interiors is a world leader in the production of car interior components and is among Mercedes' main suppliers. The company HQ is in Shanghai and has some 110 production facilities and technical centers in 20 countries and more than 32,000 employees worldwide, who design, develop and produce interior components for all car manufacturers.
