Miladin Sevarlic (BETAPHOTO/LUKA FILIPOVIC/MO)
Independent lawmaker Miladin Sevarlic has raised the “political temperature” after deciding to go on a hunger strike on parliament’s steps on May 10, where he sat clad in Serbian traditional clothes.
Sevarlic started the strike because he believes that Serbia must not abandon Kosovo, while the immediate reason was a statement by Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko that Russia could embrace amendments to U.N. Security Council Resolution 1244 on Kosovo.
