Former Vojvodina government deputy premier Goran Jesic has been attracting public attention for six weeks now with his moves and statements and has garnered the sympathies of citizens with harder opposition stances. Jesic, a liberal, pro-Western politician who successfully led the Vojvodina municipality of Indjija for 12 years, has been sharply criticizing the government of Aleksandar Vucic, after several years of absence from the public sphere. This has led to him being immediately attacked by representatives of the government and the pro-government media.
