Serbia as a Regular Target

Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic’s address during a July 11 commemorative event in honor of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide has triggered strong reactions both in Serbia and Republika Srpska. In a bid to win over the nationalistic segment of the Bosniak electorate, Becirovic, a vice-president of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus once again contributed to the further straining of relations with Belgrade.
