A Decorative Piece for Vucic’s Regime

Renowned attorney Milan Antonijevic, known as a veteran guardian of human rights, is going to be the new commissioner for protecting equality in Serbia, given that he has been nominated for the spot by the Serbian Progressive Party. The news that he had been picked caused an outcry on social media and on the part of the critical-thinking public, above all among Antonijevic’s former comrades from the NGO sector. The reason for that is that Antonijevic has gone from being a prominent pro-Western NGO figure to being a “bot” for the Aleksandar Vucic regime in the past five years.
