A Pyrrhic Victory?

The president of Partizan Basketball Club, Ostoja Mijailovic, a successful entrepreneur and senior official of the Serbian Progressive Party, has been in the limelight recently, following Zeljko Obradovic’s decision to step down as the coach of the Black-and-Whites. Some believe that Mijailovic did not make an effort to prevent Obradovic’s departure, even though the head coach had been adored by the fans, because, among other things, the trophy-winning coach was not in Aleksandar Vucic’s good books.
