Standing by Vucic, Not Judges and Prosecutors

Serbia’s Minister of Justice Nenad Vujic has been frequently criticized for failing to exercise his core duty – to act as a shield against political pressure for judges and prosecutors. Instead, he’s been acting as a steadfast defender of political moves made by Aleksandar Vucic’s government. Critics were outraged by Vujic’s decision to take part in a bizarre Christmas celebration hosted by the Informer TV, a channel known for brutal attacks on prosecutors and judges who are not in the Vucic administration’s good books.
