Owner and director of the Portuguese Alpac Capital investment group Pedro Vargas David found himself in the spotlight in Serbia after it was reported that his company has taken control over Serbia’s leading independent media outlets, including the N1 and Nova S TV stations. The takeover of these media by the Alpac Capital fund has additionally fueled fears that they are going to be turned into one of a number of media services of Aleksandar Vucic's government.
