Aleksandar Vulin
Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin on May 18 handed military accolades and thank you notes to the companies, individuals and media outlets which have helped the Ministry and the Serbian Armed Forces during the coronavirus pandemic.
"You were here and you still are. For that I am grateful to you on behalf of Serbia, on behalf of supreme commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vucic, on behalf of Serbian citizens, on behalf of every soldier, on behalf of every patient. Thank you very much on behalf of the state of Serbia, which has shown its best and most beautiful face, as have we along with it and in it," the Ministry quoted Vulin as saying.
He also said that Serbia "has proved to be more organized, richer, more solidary and safer than many big and more powerful [countries]," and that it could be seen how "big and powerful countries, wealthy peoples were taking aid, ventilators, medicines away from each other, how there was neither organization, government, nor people in many wealthy and powerful cities."
