Croatian President Zoran Milanovic would pay a two-day visit to Montenegro on June 22 and 23, and would meet his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic during a summit of the Brdo-Brioni Process in Slovenia, Zagreb daily Vecernji List reported on June 9.

At the invitation of Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic, Milanovic was scheduled to visit Montenegro in mid-April, but the visit had been pushed back due to the coronavirus epidemic, news agency Hina reported.

With the easing of the coronavirus countermeasures and gradual opening of borders, preparations for Milanovic’s official travels have stepped up.

Until early July, Milanovic is also to attend the summit of the Brdo-Brioni Process in Slovenia. The event is expected to be interesting, because it could be a first opportunity for stabilizing relations with Belgrade as it would be the host to a first meeting of the Croatian and Serbian presidents.
