One person died from consequences of the corona virus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, and the infection was registered in 71 more people, it was announced on the covid19.rs web-site on June 11.

252 people have died from the virus since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, while a total of 12,102 have been infected. The number of active cases in Serbia is 488, while 14 of them are on ventilators.

Epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic stated on June 11 that the situation with the corona virus epidemic in Serbia was fluctuating between uncertain and being under full control, because of the emerging of new hotspots which, in his words, have not surprised the epidemiologists.

Tiodorovic told the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) that "we have a situation which differs from one location to another in Serbia" and that, for this reason, anti-epidemic measures would be introduced locally, where needed.
