Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on July 27 received Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo on a visit and reiterated gratitude for China's support to Serbia.

"Today (July 27) I received Ambassador of PR China Chen Bo and reiterated the gratitude Serbia feels to China and President Xi Jinping, especially for help during the coronavirus epidemic," read a post on Vucic's Twitter account.

His cabinet said that the interlocutors had discussed "the results of Chinese experts in developing a vaccine against the coronavirus," and that he "expressed satisfaction" with that fact.

Vucic and the ambassador concurred that the projects Serbia and China were working on together were progressing well, "thanks to mutual understanding, as well as to the personal contact between the two presidents." Vucic and Chen Bo also discussed the state of affairs in the Balkans and the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
