Prime Minister Ana Brnabic appealed to Serbian prosecutors on Aug. 24 to react to what she described as false scandals, promoted by Dragan Djilas, Marinka Tepic and "others from the Party of Freedom and Justice and the United Opposition of Serbia."

The Serbian PM said that "each and every one of their unscrupulous lies," including allegations of corrupt arms export deals, wrongdoings at Telecom Serbia, migrant settling in Serbia and growing marijuana in a military farm, "have affected directly the citizens of Serbia," and caused damage to the national budget.

The prime minister said in an interview with the Pink TV that behind attacks on the national Telecom by the opposition was its desire to destroy the company, in order to allow its competitors to re-establish a monopoly in the telecommunications market.

"What was the cost of lost contracts that Krusik and Serbia's arms industry had to pay? While they were in power, the military industry was nonexistent, crushed. What happened to the reputation of the Army of Serbia when Marinka Tepic said in a mental blast that the army's military camp in Morovic was used to grow marijuana? Our companies pay dearly for their words, tarnishing the reputation of the state, and yet the prosecution service remains silent," Brnabic  has warned.
