A vice-president of the Party of Freedom and Justice, Marinika Tepic, unveiled on Aug. 24 a 2018 contract between the Serbian Telecom and the Wireless Media owned by Igor Zezelj, the owner of the Kurir daily, worth nearly EUR38 million, which according to Tepic offered evidence that "the Serbian Progressive Party's Telecom management was using taxpayers' money to buy media outlets."

Describing it as "pure organized crime," Tepic said the document made clear how Zezelj "had become a media tycoon and mega-millionaire overnight."

"The document resolves the mystery of the Mondo portal, explaining how Telekom Srbija had given the portal away as a gift to Zezelj, after investing in it for 15 years. Thanks to the contract, the value of Zezelj's assets had risen from two to 40 million euros, and his only responsibility was to praise "the party and its supporters and demonize political opponents," the leading opposition figure said to reporters outside the Telekom offices in Belgrade.

In a comment on Prime Minister Ana Brnabic's allegations that she was inventing false scandals, Tepic said the prime minister "should get familiar with the powers of a prime minister."
