One Person Dies of Coronavirus Consequences, 83 Newly Infected

One person died of the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 745.

According to the Sept. 24 announcement on the web-site of the Ministry of Health, the virus was confirmed in 83 of the 6,663 tested people in that period.

There are 22 patients on ventilators, among the 294 who are being treated in hospitals. A total of 1,099,022 people have been tested in Serbia since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, of whom 33,163 have been confirmed as infected.
