Vulin And Godfrey On Continued Cooperation In Fight Against Organized Crime, Terrorism

Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin met on Nov. 4 with the U.S. ambassador in Belgrade, Anthony Godfrey, and discussed the continued cooperation between the two countries in the fight against organized crime, terrorism and illegal drug trafficking, the Interior Ministry has stated.

During the meeting, Vulin stated that Serbia was a reliable partner of the U.S. in the fight against all forms of crime and that the cooperation between its Interior Ministry and the U.S. law enforcement agencies would continue through the ongoing projects and training courses, as well as through new initiatives that would strengthen the capacity of the police.

"Ambassador Godfrey has stated that he was pleased with the level of cooperation that has been accomplished so far, and convinced that this would continue in the future," the statement reads.
