Ana Brnabic

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said in Nis on Nov 24 that around 5,900 people were hospitalized in covid hospitals in Serbia, which was a record number.

"The most important thing is that we have enough room to take care of everyone who needs to be hospitalized. Some of them are truly being taken from Belgrade to hospitals in other towns and municipalities," Brnabic said, adding that securing enough beds was not a problem but finding enough health workers was.

"Soon, at the start of December, we will open a brand new covid hospital in Belgrade, but it is important that we know that there are not enough health workers to go around. You can open every hospital and every stadium for covid patients but you will still not have enough people to treat you," Brnabic stressed.
