Serbia Reports 52 Coronavirus-Related Deaths, 7,919 New Cases

Over the past 24 hours, Serbia registered 52 deaths in relation to Covid-19. The total number of coronavirus-related victims since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 1,704, according to information published on the website covid19.rs, on Dec. 2.

In the same period, 7,919 new cases were registered among 22,069 tested. A total of 7,611 people have been hospitalized, with 270 persons being put on ventilators.

A total of 191,356 coronavirus cases have been registered in Serbia so far.

On Dec. 2, companies Pfizer and BioNTech were to submit to the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia the necessary documentation for the registration of their Covid-19 vaccine, according to portal b92.net.

This, according to the portal, was agreed on the Dec. 1 meeting between Pfizer representative and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar.
