51 People Die of Coronavirus In Serbia, 4,426 Newly Infected

51 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 2,833, it was announced on Dec. 23.

According to figures of the Institute for Public Health of Serbia "Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut," the presence of the virus was confirmed in 4,426 people among the 16,617 tested.

There are 9,672 covid patients currently being treated in hospitals, 309 of them on ventilators.

Since the start of the epidemic, a total of 2,188,004 people have been tested in Serbia, 312,253 of whom were positive.
