Dr Predrag Bogdanovic, a chief medical coordinator at Belgrade' multipurpose venue Stark Arena that has been transformed into a temporary Covid-19 hospital, said on Dec. 28 that 413 patients had been treated at Arena, and that a total of 2,800 had been hospitalized since October.

Dr Bogdanovic said in an interview with the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation that over the past few days that more patients had been released than admitted, but that didn't mean the Serbs could relax, as all the 413 Covid-19 patients at Arena had severe symptoms, of whom 350 had been receiving oxygen therapy.

A total of 1,500 patients were sent to their homes to continue treatment, and 160 transported to other Covid hospitals as their condition had worsened, the doctor explained.
