Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced that a new batch of 500,000 vaccines would arrive in Serbia from China on Feb. 10.

Vucic announced that in the next 15 days a total of 50,000 Chinese vaccines would arrive and added that 88,000 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines would be shipped by Feb. 22.

"Right now the Sinopharm vaccines are in a Serbian warehouse in China. I can proudly say that by the end of February this will put us in first or second place in terms of the number of vaccinations in all of Europe," Vucic said.

Vucic thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin and especially Chinese President Xi Jinping for the vaccine deliveries. "Thanks also to our friends from Great Britain and Inida, any everyone that we led bilateral talks on purchasing vaccines with," Vucic said.
