24 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours and there were 4,595 newly infected, the Health Ministry announced on March 11.
There are 213 patients on ventilators among the 4,359 people who are being treated in hospitals. Since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, 503,291 people have been infected and 4,644 have died.
According to reports of the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS), the session of the Crisis Headquarters for the fight against the coronavirus will be held on March 12. Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has stated that she would insist on the cancelling of all concerts and that stricter measures would almost certainly be in place during the weekend.
